First login

After your first successful login, the dashboard is mostly empty — that’s normal. Here’s the recommended order to get value out of it quickly.

1. Connect a broker

Go to Brokers (gear icon at the bottom of the sidebar) and connect at least one of the supported brokers:

  • Zerodha Kite, Upstox, Fyers — connect through the broker’s official login page.
  • Angel One, Dhan, Groww — paste the API credentials issued by the broker into the form.

You can connect more than one broker. Holdings from every connected broker are merged on the Holdings page.

See the full walkthrough on the Brokers page.

2. Check your holdings

Open Holdings in the sidebar. Within a few seconds you’ll see:

  • Summary cards — Invested, Current value, P&L, and Returns %.
  • A holdings table — every position from every connected broker, with broker badges so you know where each line came from.

If holdings don’t show up, see Troubleshooting → My holdings aren’t loading.

3. Add anything your broker doesn’t track

Investments in mutual funds, ETFs, or off-platform equity can be entered by hand on the Manual investments page. They sit alongside your live broker holdings everywhere portfolio totals are shown.

See Manual investments.

4. Set your notification preferences

Open your Profile to:

  • Confirm the email address used for the weekly digest.
  • Subscribe to (or unsubscribe from) the newsletter.
  • Generate or revoke API keys (only if you want to use them — most users never need to).

5. Explore from there

You’re set up. Try one of:

What runs automatically once you’re set up

  • Holdings refresh when you open the page (and via the Refresh button at any time).
  • Weekly portfolio digest lands in your email every Friday evening (Indian time) if you’re subscribed.
  • Long-running analyses (screener reports, stock evaluations, restructuring plans) run in the background — you can leave the page and come back; results are saved.
